Having defeated Benfica in the Champions League on Tuesday night, the Red Devils will be looking to continue their winning streak when they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
As far as the transfers business with the club are concerned, report via Daily Record is suggesting that United are one of the club who are interested in Celtic duo Moussa Dembele and Kieran Tierney.
If the latest making rounds are anything to go by then Jose Mourinho’s side are favourites to raid the Scottish champions for their talented duo.
The Daily Mirror have reported that United are leading the race to sign the duo who could cost a combined fee of over 50 million pounds exacting Sixty-six Million US Dollars ($66million).
As far as the strike-force is concerned, United splashed heavy cash to sign Romelu Lukaku in the summer transfer window and the Belgian has been brilliant under Mourinho. They also have the likes of Ibra and Rashford for the striking positions. In such a scenario, Jose does not really need another CF.
We were interested in signing a new left back in the summer transfer window but that did not happen. There is an urgent need for a player in the LB position who could serve the club in the long run and Celtic’s Tierney would be a fantastic signing.
Tierney has already registered 23 appearances for Brendan Rodger’s side this season, scoring two goals and creating 4 assists. Still, Dembele is one of the most gifted young goalscorers around. The French scored over 30 goals in the last season.
