Manchester United will get a fresh chance to sign Ivan Perisic in the January transfer window, according to reports making rounds in the British media.
According to the Sun, the tabloid are reporting that the club are set to revive their hopes of signing the Inter Milan attacker after having been heavily linked with a move to the Croatian in the summer window.
The same adds that the new five-year deal the 28-year-old signs earlier this year with Inter Milan was to keep his value up, rather than keep him with San Siro giants.
And the Sun further adds that the Old Trafford could still sign Perisic if they are willing to meet the Nerazzurri’s asking price of around £45m.
The winger has been in superb form for Inter Milan so far this season, and has netted seven goals registering six assists in the top flight for Luciano Spalleti side.
It remains to be seen whether or not Perisic will indeed complete a move to the Manchester club in the new year. It is worth nothing that the Red Devils will be linked with a host of players as the January transfer window draws ever nearer.
Jose Mourinho’s men will return to Premier League action on Wednesday night when they take on AFC Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
