Manchester United are reportedly ready to break club’s transfer record once again to sign Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Dele Alli.
The 21-year-old in last two seasons has transformed into one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, and Jose Mourinho is keen on to work with him.
The England international midfielder has had series of inconsistency this season, however, he has still contributed seven goals and four assists in 17 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur across all competition.
According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, the reigning Champions League and La Liga holders, Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on Alli. However, Man United are hopeful that they can beat them in the race to sign the 21-year-old attacker by launching an £180m offer for the England international.
Alli cost Spurs just £5m back in 2015 and ow they can bank around £180m with his sale.
However, Spurs in recent years have transformed into a club that are fighting for top spot in the Premier League and they are unlikely to allow Alli make the switch to direct Premier League rivals.
