Manchester United have been in search of a wide player for quite some time and Fulham’s youngster Ryan Sessegnon is in the lime light.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then Jose Mourinho is clear to sign the 17-year-old left-back.
According to reports from The Sun, Fulham have opened the door for the youngster to join Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur when the winter transfer window opens in three weeks.
Sessegnon can effectively play in the left midfield as well. He is not only solid at the back but also effective in the attacking third. This season, the forward has scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists for the Cottagers.
Last season, the teenager scored 7 goals and provided 5 assists across 31 appearances. Sessegnon has so far scored 4 goals for the U-19 England side in 14 appearances.
His current deal with the London based club will expire in 2020 and the youngster is rated, according to The Sun around 50 million pounds equivalent to $67million.
Tottenham are not renowned for spending huge amounts of cash and it will be hugely shocking to the North London side match the above mentioned price tag for a 17-year-old. Therefore, the Red Devils are perhaps favorites to secure Sessegnon’s signature. It all remains to be see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming weeks.
