Manchester United have been interested in signing Welsh international and Real Madrid star Gareth Bale for quite some and the latest reports making rounds in the media are interesting.
The former Tottenham Hotspur forward was mostly on the treatment table last season and even now, he’s currently out of action injured.
According to Daily Mirror, the European and La Liga champions are now fed up with Bale’s injuries and are ready to sell him for a reported 5 million pounds (€95million) fee. According to reports, the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and his former club Tottenham are on high alert over his availability.
Bale is suffering from a calf injury and he has missed no fewer than 8 games so far this season. Overall, in 9 appearances for Real Madrid, the ex-Spurs winger has netted 3 goals and provided 4 assists.
As far as the Red Devils are concerned, Jose Mourinho needs a world class playmaker to strenghten his attack and the Welshman perfectly fits the bill for us.
However, Bale’s injury record has been poor and that could deter his move to Old Trafford situation which I believe Mourinho should assess carefully.
