The 28-year-Old has already made it known to Inter boss he wants a move to Old Trafford this summer but the Italians have dug their heels in over the price, rejecting the Europa League champions’ two bids for the Croatian midfielder. Perisic has been spotted severally not happy ever since joining the Nerazzurri squad for pre-season training in Ricone di Brunico and had to leave the camp Saturday though report claimed it was due to toothaches problems.

Inter boss Luciano Spalletti is desperate for the player to stay at San Siro but knows that it’s looking like an impossible task to keep the midfielder at the club next season. Inter have made contingencies however, with Lazio’s Keita Balde set to be Perisic’s replacement at the San Siro club.

Perisic agreed personal terms on a deal with United back in May and is set to earn a whooping £100,000-a-week with us when the deal finally gets completed; that now looks likely to happen in the coming days.
